[CBQ] Passenger train routing in Omaha area

All, how did the California and Denver Zephyrs get to Omaha and then 
westward?

I'm assuming they came from Creston, IA through Red Oak and Pacific 
Junction, crossed the Missouri River at Plattsmouth and ran north up the 
west side of the river to Omaha.

But leaving, would they take the same route south to catch the west main 
towards Lincoln or west through Omaha towards the Ashland wye.
