If you were unable to attend this years fall meet it was I wonderful event.
I wanted to thank everyone that put on the meet and attended the meet this
fall. The bus tour to East Dubuque & Savanna with the stop at the Savanna
ammunition plant/depot that was serviced by the Q was great. All the clinics
I was able to attend were excellent. The clinic with the panelists was
interesting. I do like those panel discussions because I am too young to
remember the Q back then. There were some wonderful models at the contest.
The dinner with a clinic on banana traffic after was good. Also I want to
thank to everyone that donated or went out and got donations for the
wonderful door prizes they gave away at the dinner. They also raffled off
items like the new HO Pioneer Zephyr from Con-Cor and a Brass Waycar from
Railway classics. It was nice to be able to put faces with names and meet
new friends. I hope to see you all at Streator in the spring.
