Bill,

Last record I have of CB&Q 9147/BN 91 was it's sale
to Mid-America Car on 27-Aug-83. It was then leased
to Kansas City Power & Light at Montrose MO. I do not
think it is currently at that location but I'm not
sure where it went.

  DC,

Joe Douda, who lives in Westmont, IL and who is a long time Q historian
probably knows more about that locomotive than any other individual in
the world. Joe's favorite portion of the RR is the Black Hills
operation and he has spent many years researching it. The 9147 is his
favorite, however, if memory serves, I believe it was scrapped during
the 1970s. Unfortunately, I have Joe's snail mail address, but not an
  e-mail address.
