The BN, and now BNSF has had a mechanical reefer in MofW service,
based out of Cicero, IL.  It retains its generator, which is used -
but I am not sure for what purpose.  It is usually used with the
ballast cleaning train.  It is in BN White, however the paint is
starting to peel back revealing what looks like BREX yellow.
