As a fan & modeler of the LaCrosse Div I am always on the lookout for
photos of same as well as the trains that traveled it. The Twins &
the Black Hawk are obvious but then I am also obviously interested in
the Q's portion of the NP & GN's trains to & from Chicago. Thus my
son got me a copy of the 2001 Kalmbach s/b book entitled "GN Ry in the
Pacific NW" for all the good EPB & Western Star photos even if they
are taken "out west". However guess my surprice in seeing the Q's
unique converted WWII troop kitchen cars NOT on the EPB (where I often
saw them especially @ Christmas carrying bulk mail) but on the Puget
Sounder & Montana local #236! There is also a great pic of 2
different o/b wood Q gons in Mt in 1953. Anyone have similar finds?
