I believe the 9103 spent most of it's life in Monmouth. The 9103 was the first
locomotive I ran. Raymond "Mutt" Sage was the roundhouse foreman in Monmouth
and he would let me run it from the pit up to the depot I was 11 or 12 years of
age.
It would be taken dead in train to Galesburg for its schedule maintenance.
