Not CB&Q, but here is a photo that shows a herringbone brick pattern at
the M&StL depot in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Oskaloosa had their own brickyard
making "OSKALOOSA" brand bricks.
I have one from the streets of Oskaloosa plus one from the CRIP/M&StL
depot platform in Grinnell.

I believe that my daughter has a stack of Puringtons behind her house in
SE Iowa.
I used to have a few, but left them behind when I moved.
