If you are interested in a list of CB&Q predecessor companies and subsidiaries,
there is an extensive list at http://www.northwestrailfan.com/bnsfgenealogy.PDF
I don't know how complete the list is but there are about 90 companies shown
for the CB&Q. There are similar lists there for C&S and FW&D, plus the other
railroads that eventually became BNSF.
