I just received today a DVD by WB Video Productions called "The Last
Steamers of the Colorado & Southern". I found it on the Historic
Rail website for $40. Besides C&S steamers, it has several CB&Q
steamers (including Mendota's #4978) in active service in the late
1950's. Locations include Cheyenne, WY; Denver, CO; and the
Leadville-Climax, CO line; among others. There are also shots of
double-headed steamers. I have really enjoyed it.
Although I only recently became aware of this program, its copyright
is 1986.
