Even if the guy wants $4k for the thing, it would have been a lot more
reasonable to put a small starting bid and a $4k reserve price. That
way his friend would have at least a gauge on the perceived market
value of the model, from how high the bids went. This way he's just
thown the listing fee down the drain with no return at all.
I wonder what information is on the "original box", which is
conveniently not shown...
