All,

BNSF/BN/CB&Q Imperial Sub-Division officially leased to NKCR
13-Nov-04 from MP 0.89 to MP 49.1, (end of track). They have
been granted trackage rights from MP 0.89 to McCook and Track
Number 6 in the McCook Yard is their designated point of
interchange.

BNSF/BN/CB&Q Wymore Sub-Division from MP 216.95 to MP 257.36
officially sold to NKCR 13-Nov-04. They have been granted
trackage rights from Oxford Jct to Oxford and do their
interchange at Oxford.

The Wymore Sub-Division is out of service from MP 197.15 to
MP 216.95. It has been abandoned from MP 117.03 to MP 127.83
effective 10-Dec-03. UP is now the owner from MP 114.72 to
MP 114.99. Do not know if brickyard at Endicott is being
switched by UP with haulage to Hastings or if BNSF is
operating over UP from Level to Endicott. It has been done
both ways. To the best of my knowledge there is no service
East of Superior to the end of track, West of Endicott to
the end of track, or East of Endicott to Pawnee. Table Rock
to Pawnee is used for car storage. At present there are
three trains worth of Intermodal equipment, (approx 18,000'),
just West of Table Rock. BNSF intends on retaining the
trackage between Table Rock and Pawnee.

The Beatrice Sub-Division was abandoned between MP 32.7 to
MP 42.16 on 20-Nov-03. The last equipment stored at Wymore
was moved out via the Table Rock end in early 2004. This
again was trailer flats.

Took another look at the Lester Sub between Lester Jct and
Hastings and there are actually segments of 75# rail laid
in 1906 in service on the line. This line has and does see
shuttle grain trains and is rated for 286GWR. Also used as
a bypass for almost anything that would normally go via
Lincoln or Kansas City with the exception that I have never
seen a loaded coal train go this way.

Nebraska City Sub-Division is not leased. From MP 56.30 at
College View NE, East to end of track it is the property of
the Omaha Public Power District. Right now I'm fairly sure
the chosen operator is the UP RR. KYLE has operated in the
past.

Russ
