In Bulletin #7 on XM-32's it says 50 cars built in 1940 (30000-30049)
and 100 cars built in 1941 (31000-31099), were built for passenger
service and were painted Pullman Green. In 1941 they were renumberd
8000-8049 and 8100-8199. In 1948-51 they were renumbered and painted for
freight service.
In 1944 100 cars 8200-8299 were built for passener service. In 1948-51
they were also renumbered and painted for freight.
