National Harvey Girl Symposium 2004
August 7 & 8, 2004 / San Diego, California
The San Diego Model Railroad Museum and the Orange Empire Railway Museum are
hosting the National Harvey Girl Symposium 2004. The event will be held at
the San Diego Model Railroad Museum which is located in Balboa Park, 1649 El
Prado, San Diego, California.

schedule of events is listed below.
Women in Railroading (ISPWR) will be performing an original skit on Sunday
August 8, at 1:00pm titled, "A Chance to See the West." The play takes place
on a farm in Denison, Kansas, circa 1924. It is a behind the scenes look at
why some women left their homes and families to become Harvey Girls.
