John,

While in Leadville ride the Leadville, Colorado and Southern from
Leadville towards Climax on the old C&S High Line. Diesel power but
great scenery. Tickets at the old depot right next to 641. Wear a coat.

Also while you are in the area be sure and ride the Georgetown Loop
between Georgetown and Silver Plume. While they don't have Q steam it is
on the old C&Sng right of way and a beautiful ride.

It may also be the last time you can ride it as the Colorado Historical
Society with excessive idiocy is driving off the current operator (who
has run it for 31 years). While the CHS promises to have something
running next year not many believe it.
