Instead of going to the effort of removing roof vents and plugging windows
on the Walthers car, Bethlehem Car Works already has a kit with this all of
this done. With a little bit of TLC work, these turn out to be very nice
looking models.
If you can?t find these at you local hobby store or outlet, contact me
offlist and I?ll tell you where these may be obtained.

Maybe I missed it, but has anyone gone over the process of using the
new Walthers troop kitchen cars to make a Burlington "jeep" express
car? The model looks nice. It would seem to center on removing the
roof vents and filling the windows. Since I can't (rather WON'T)
spend the bucks for the nice PSC brass one, I'm thinking using the
Walthers car.
