Greetings Everyone,
I recently measured up BNSF 512488, and completed a set of drawings
to scratchbuild this car in a BN, or CB&Q scheme, but I have some
questions that maybe those with BNSF/BN/CB&Q equipment diagrams may
be able to answer.
1. I need to verify that this car is from the BN 577300-577399
series, formerly CB&Q 83300-83399?
2. The car has rebuilt ends. Can anyone verify the date this
particular car, or series of cars received the new ends?
3. And I need to verify center to center truck distances. Based on my
field measurements, I come up with a distance of 42'-2 1/2".
