To MU the air brake systems. There is redundancy there, they
do not all have to be coupled.

Subject: [CBQ] Diesel Nose Hoses
I've noticed that some road engines have anywhere from 5 to 7 hoses hanging
from the coupler area of the nose. Usually 3 to the left of the coupler (when
looking at the front) and 2 to 4 on the right side. This is not counting the
air hose near the coupler. Anyone tell me what these are for?
