The Denver Post for Sunday 13 Jun 2004, page 34A has an obituary for John
Holland. According to the obituary he began on the DSL in 1944, drafted off
the DRGW in 1950 where he became a steam-locomotive engineer for the U.S.
Army, hired on with the CS in 1952 and retired from the BN as a trainmaster
in Cheyenne.
