While you are waiting for your copies of BB 23, BB 26 and perhaps BB 30 here
are some answers. The RI interchange was actually on the East side of the
yard at the North end. The Washington branch actually started at Mediapolis
(MP 15.4) the Burlington ran over the RI from Burlington to Mediaplolis. The
roundhouse was on the West side and the depot is still there.

The Rock had there own freight depot with agent. The building was renovated
many years ago and made into to a restaurant.
