I have one copy of Trains Magazine, December 1955 for sale.
This copy is in EXCELLENT condition: nice clean cover, no torn
or creased pages, no wear on cover, spine, or pages. The article
"The Burlington Story--2: INSIDE THE BURLINGTON" was written
by renown railroad writer David P. Morgan. "To see Burlington at
its best, see it between Chicago and Aurora---the most important
38 miles on the railroad. This is the neck leading to the brain, the
triple-tracked pipeline from the West to the biggest terminal on
the road." 13 b&w photos, a 2 page track diagram of Chicago to
Aurora with the location of every train at 7:34 a.m., a loco roster
from 4-6-0's to E9's, a 2 page track diagram of Cicero yard, and a
map showing signaled territory. I accept a check or money order.
$4.75 postpaid
