I used to be The Railroad Club of Chicago, Inc., fan trip director, circa
1955--1970, but this 1941 trip was way before my time (I was only 8 that
summer).
Most of the old-time members are gone now, but a few, well into theirs
eighties, survive. I'll ask around to see if anyone recalls what engines were
used
