I have 3 issues of Trains Magazine for sale; they contain articles 
pertaining to the CB&Q. These copies are in excellent condition 
with nice clean covers, clean pages, no torn or creased pages; 
just normal wear. These magazines are rare especially in such 
good condition.

Price: $4.50 per magazine (includes postage) or purchase the 
entire packet of 3 magazines for $12.75 (includes postage)

April, 1953: A New Way of the Zephyrs, The Kansas City Short 
Cut----Largest U.S. railroad-building project in 25 years--hustles 
new Silver Zephyrs down across Missouri to Kansas City. 
Includes map of the new line.

November, 1955: The Burlington Story Part 1; Burlington: What 
Makes It Tick, David P. Morgan. Full page map, Burlington freight 
trafic density map for 1954, many photos of passenger and 
freight rains, probably one of the best analysis of the CB&Q.

December, 1955: The Burlington Story Part 2; Inside the 
Burlington, David P. Morgan. Loco Roster 4-6-0's to E9's, a map 
of CB&Q signaled territory, a map of the Chicago to Aurora 
mainline on April 22, 1955 at 7:34 a.m. show sthe location of 
every train on that section of track including the consist of each 
train, and a photo of the fastest train in the world:Twin Cities 
Zephyr, and a detailed map of Cicero yard, and much more.
