This is an FYI message to CB&Q 3-rail O-gauge fans. I am not a
dealer, vendor, or associated with Lionel in any way.
Just picked up Lionel's 2004 V1 catalog. the following CB&Q items
are offered:
1. Scale Pioneer Zephyr. 3-Car set. Die cast (doesn't say if
plated or painted). 2 motors. TMCC. RailSounds w/ Winton 600 hp
engine sounds. Smoke unit. Crew & passenger figures. Vestibules
with no gaps. O-72 minimum curves. MSRP = $1100. (Sunset/3rd
Rail, MTH RailKing, and MTH Premier have previously made O-gauge PZ
models).
2. Grayback FT AA Set. #113A&B. One unit powered, other dummy.
RailSounds. Smoke unit. In stores now. O-31. MSRP= $300. (O-
gauge first)
3. Redbird GP30. #945. TMCC w/ RailSounds. Dual motors. Smoke
unit. Engineer figures. O-31. MSRP= $400. (An O-gauge first. I
saw a demo of one in a store, I'll put it on my wish list.)
4. EV Caboose (sorry, er, Waycar). #13611 (new number for O-
gauge). Red striped version (can't tell from catalog if the base
color is silver or gray). Smoke unit. MSRP= $85.
