The through cars from the DZ were originally a 50 seat chair coach, Vista
Dome Coffee Shop Dorm "Chuck Wagon," a Slumbercoach, and finally a 10-6 Pullman.
Later on the Vista Dome "Chuck Wagon" Coffee Shop car stayed in Denver, and a
Vista Dome Coach operated thru in it's place.
A great video is "Mr & Mrs Dobbs go to Colorado," a promotional film the BN
redistributed in the late 70's. It is a copy of the promotional film the Q
made introducing the big, new Denver Zephyr of 1956. Great shots of the train
as
delivered by Budd, along with interiors, etc.
