This and next weekend is The Spoon River Drive. In Lewistown, IL the Fulton
County Narrow Gauge depot will be Saturday and Sunday both weekends from 9
to 5 each day. The waiting room has been restored and in the back freight
room will be a HO scale modular layout. Also out side is an ex GN waycar you
can look through. I should be there most of the time both weekends so feel
free to ask any questions. Other depots open on the drive are the old Q
depot in Lewistown which last I knew is still being worked on, but there
should be someone there to show you what has been done. Another is the Q
depot in Canton, IL which is set up as a local museum. Also the Avon depot
will have a display, which I think includes the depot picture display that
you see at the Galesburg Railroad Days Train Show at Carl Sandberg College.
So I may see some of you in the next couple weekends.
