That's right John, I was aware of the young Fred Harvey working as an RPO
clerk, fresh off the boat from England.
But I wasn't aware of the William Russell / Pony Express trivia. We are
having Gold Rush Days this weekend in Sacramento with Pony Express reinactments
in
Old Sacramento.
Alot of history there in Palmyra! Next time I see "Mary Poppins" I watch for
Jane.
