Hello Friends of Black Hills Railroading!
This is the updated listing of events for the annual Hill City Railroad
Days. The events will all held at the Black Hills Central Railroad (The
1880 TRAIN). The former
Hill City CB&Q depot and branch line to Keystone are restored and in
prime condition for the railroad's three steam locomotives and vintage
rolling stock. Former
Burlington, Chicago and North Western, and rolling stock from other
railroads will be featured.
A special announcement regarding the creation of the South Dakota State
Railroad Museum will take place at High Noon on Sunday, September 21st. This
announcement will be in conjunction with the Steam Expo, which will
feature all three of the steam locomotives of the BHC under steam and
operating in the yard area.
Bring your cameras for a fun and definitely unique event!
