I just added three more photos of the ex-BN 495000-495049/ex-CB&Q 84950-84999
covered hoppers that are living and working in Maine today. The Album is "LO-9
Covered (whalebelly) Hoppers," and the sub-album is "ex-Burlington cars in
Maine today" if anyone wants to check 'em out.
These are all I've gotten scanned so far, but I'd like to add in some detail
shots of the piping, etc.
You may note that the Baroid car at
<http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/misc-b/bdnx301ags.jpg> is a fairly obvious ex-BN
"paint-out." It's DPCX 301 today. The painted-out areas on my shot of ERCX 2806
are similar. They all have the "CB&Q TRK 27" lettering on their trucks, so I'm
pretty sure of their heritage.
