In my Oct-Dec "47 TT there are 2 routes in use although both had been
supplemented with busses back in the 30's. From Ottumwa via Albia there
were morning & afternoon trains daily: 27 &179 N-bd - 28/178 S-bd plus a
pair of gas-electrics on the line from Osceola via connecting bus @
Indianola but notation says "Line out of service". There was not any jt
Wabash service ever to my knowledge.
