Is there an error in the spelling of the website listed below? Or, has
it been moved or deleted? When trying to access it, I get a message
that the personal web page is not there.

One of the architects of a major source of Q dome photos on
line, has gone
the extra mile. Some of you may already be aware of the site
for domes (has
photos of virtually every dome car ever operated in US inc.
obviously a LOT
of Burlington Vista Domes as well as EPB, NCL, etc) Now he has
set up a
site (http://bellsouthpwp.net/j/m/jmlaboda/PassIndexes.htm)
where you can
find an index for every link he could find on the Internet with
passenger
car photos of all kinds as well as business cars & rail motor
cars. Each
segment is broken down by RR (C&S/FTW&D are listed under CB&Q)
with car
name/# and the link to where you can view it. Not included are
the cars
shown in the original Dome site (but link is there) nor those
from the main
Amtrak car site (link also shown). Under CB&Q there are approx.
4 hwt's, 68
lwts, 14 C&S & 7 FtW&D. Includes Otto Perry as well as current
photographers.
Some are in MoW paint, some have multiple views & C&S n.g. is
included. I
was unable to open the "rail motor car" listing but am sure it
has CB&Q
units as well. There is also a separate Business Car listing -
the Q
contents are slim though - just #68.
Overall it was a tremendous effort & will grow as he asks for
any new links
you may be aware of, updates, etc. And of course you can find
Empire
Builder & North Coast Ltd cars under GN & NP (those cars
sublettered for
CB&Q are listed under CB&Q as well). Check it out and help add
on any CB&Q
listings you are aware of - its is & will be a great help to
fans & modelers
alike. Talk about a LOT of work! Gerald
