Test train with the new 4th generation motors for the commuter trains between
Chicago and Aurora will run
Feb. 13 Westbound depart Union Ave. off One lead from coach yard at 0900 behind
1227 and arrive Aurora on South Platform 1000
Eastbound depart Aurora South Platform 1015 arrive Union Ave down one lead into
coach yard at 1115
Train to be engine, instrumentation coach and control car.
Rumors I hear are when new Metra Coaches arrive the old Q Cab cars which are
not FRA standard will be rebuilt into straight coaches No dispo of old cars as
all are needed.
