Does anyone know approximately when the Q started painting its buildings white?
Did it coincide with the switch from the Blackbird scheme to Chinese Red or
seem to be a coincidence. And was it an organized, system-wide repainting, or
just whenever a structure needed a new coat? Did it start in and then branch
out from Chicago, i.e. the yards, or in no particular order on the system?
Many thanks for whatever help you can provide.
