Folks, In the 1920's, would there have been much, if any, interchange between the Milwaukee and the Q at Savanna? Perhaps the veterans could take an educated guess. The follow-up question concerns how the interchange was made, i.e. transfer runs between the yards or elsewhere. The 1926 Sanborn map shows connections from the Milwaukee's elevator trackage, not only to the sidings on the west side of the Q mains across from the depot, but directly to the Q mainline tracks as well.
