in motion! On Friday evening, Dec 6th, the Silver Quail will depart
Chicago bound for Louisville, KY on the rear of the Kentucky
Cardinal. Arrival in Louisville on Saturday morning allows the whole
day to see Louisville area attractions while the train is turned and
serviced. A late evening departure allows you to slowly fall asleep
to the tune of the Louisville & Indiana's jointed rail or brave the
cold and take in the night view from the vestibule. The journey
concludes with a Sunday morning arrival back in Chicago Union
Station. Here's the best part: A double room on the Silver Quail is
only $500, or a single occupancy for $250! Several pairs of bedrooms
can be ensuited, or opened into a lounge area, great for a group of 4
