This was attempted at the meet in Red Oak years ago. We put a tape recorder in
the middle of the table at the banquet and he rambled on the whole table was in
stiches and got a lot of dirty looks from the rest of the people at the dinner.
Never did find out what happen to the tape

All Rip stories were prefaced with "Ah, Jeeeeesus Christ........" which was
the prelude to a dandy. My all time favorite is the one he tells about
"Stutterin' Stew" wiping-out his waycar on the Running Track at Eola with an
O-5. Even had the sound effects thrown in for extra flavor! Someone should
record for posterity Rip's life stories before he passes on.
