John is correct. The crew is entitled to a 25 mile lap back each time they
"lapback" a point on the line. What was interesting about these particular
claims was that they were submitted in the early 60s by a Condr who by the
early 70s when I worked his pool turn was reluctant to submit any
arbitraries.
Supt C J MIller declined these timeslips on the basis that the moves were
very short and therefore werent covered by the agreement. After much
correspondence and a claims conference they were approved.
