in response to dave's e-mail---buffalo is on the west edge of Davenport,Iowa. 
i hapened to be there last week as i made a trip home. there is a small yard 
between River Road and South Concord just off the Mississippi river. did not 
get a close look but maybe about 4 tracks. the east end line runs into 
davenport. could not tell about access. jim young
