List, There were many baseball teams on the Q and some represented not only
the railroad but even different departments in the terminals. In Galesburg,
we had a CB&Q Band but the strangest had to be the Q Polo Club made up of
roundhouse shop workers before the 1900's. The one photo which we have is
the CB&Q Steel Car Shops Baseball team complete with the Burlington Route
herald displayed on the canvas sports equiptment bag, Yet I find the Polo
Club thing hard to grasp. WAF
