Bob,as I recall its painted black w/o any markings.If you can identify the body bolster style from that we can tell who the builder was.Pipe bolsters are utc,given the age of car it had to one of only a few bldrs.Plate bolsters are acf (so is Trinity but they weren't in business then).There were a couple other tank mfgs back then.
