I sympathise with you as I am in the same foreign situation facing
unfavourable exchange rates and banks fees. However, I have an arrangement
with a very, very generous and kind friend who receives my U.S. dollar bills
and forwards a check on his account for me. That avoids the need to buy
banks checks, and for the BRHS volunteers to handle cash.
