Took Ed's suggestion and did a search of the BRHSlist archives and found my
original post and thread from November 1999 on the sidedoor waycar numbers:
According to my research to date (somewhat limited, I'll admit), I have
found that the CB&Q had six waycars that were retrofitted with side
baggage doors in the late 50's early 60's. Here's what I've found:
14006 NE 1 Added in 1960
14042 NE 1 Added in 1960
14151 NE 1 Added in 4/1963 - to BN 11030
14385 NE 1 Added in 1960
14587 NE 4 (Photo in Burlington in Transition 1947 with side door)
14560 NE 4 Added in 10/1959 - to BN 11071
14638 NE 4 Added ????
