Were the freight version converted kitchen cars (BE-1's) assigned
consecutive numbers in several blocks, or were they randomly assigned.
The family of course is 8600-8999, but I've seen car #'s of 8796 and
8859 modified for freight, but 8800 isn't. I know there were 300 of the
BE-1's, but approximately how many were modified for freight?
