Depends on how good the Q traffic solicitor was.

Think about the MN&S..there was no logical reason for traffic from the 
Pacific NW to move via that line, yet they seemed to be involved in every 
move.

I've heard the Rock Island VP of Traffic rant for considerable time over this 
matter.

If there was a rate and a route, a good traffic man could sell it.
