Some other material:
1) Howard Fogg put some C&S/CB&Q steam sounds on his albumn "Steam
Sound Stories".
2) A gentleman named Vinton Wight used to be in radio in the Lincoln
and Omaha, NE areas. He made some truly marvelous recordings of UP
steam in Nebraska, as well as CB&Q steam. Many years ago I was able
to borrow some 33rpm albums from a long-time railfan in Lincoln and
was able to tape some of the cuts. Wight recorded 2-8-2's, 4-8-4's,
2-10-4 etc. Haven't played the tape in a long time. Look for the
Wight albums, you won't be disappointed.
