Doug,
You should be looking at a model of one of the later homebuilt O5s.
#5600-5607 were built by Baldwin and have smooth-side (welded) tenders. The
rest of the O5s were assembled and built by Burlington in their own shop.
These later O5s do have the riveted tenders. In other words if you're O5 has
a beetle-brow Elesco feedwater heater up front the tender will be smooth...
if it doesn't have one of these barrel gadgets in front of the smokebox the
tender will have rivets.
