I recently purchased one of the new sets of Stewart CB&Q Passenger F3
A-B-A. Very nice model & runs great but needs some detail changes to
make it a more accurate model of one of the CB&Q sets (#9960, 61 or
62 A,B,C). This time they appropriately left off the dynamic brake
grids. I have completed most of the conversion work but need some
help to finish.

1. The Stewart units come with freight pilots. Can anyone suggest a
source for a suitable passenger pilot that would fit a Stewart unit?
I have Cal Scale, Oriental and a Details Assoc passenger pilots but
they are all about a foot too wide for the Stewart units. Perhaps
they were designed to convert Athearn units.

2. Looking for a source for the steam generator intakes and vents
for the roofs. The Details West steam generator details are for hood
units. I have cut one of these down in height but they are still not
right for an F unit. The recent Challenger F units had beautiful
steam generator details but I don't if Challenger will sell parts
separately.

3. Lastly, I do not know what the caps are on the end of some of the
truck sideframe journals. I recognize the speed recorder and the
sloped top generals, but many photos show some other round type cap
on the remaining axles.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
