Member Rob Adams has volunteered to take on the duties of Webmaster for the
BRHS. An Iowa native, Rob has an intense interest in Midwest railroads, and
has served as publications editor for the Ann Arbor Railroad Technical and
Historical Association from 1993 to 2001. During that period, he has
researched and authored many prototype and modeling articles.
His burgeoning fascination with the Burlington Route can be traced to a flea
market at Washington, Iowa a few years ago, where he purchased a copy of
Burlington Bulletin #30 from BRHS member Charles Franzen. Rob was
immediately drawn to the potential modeling possibilities of the B&W/B&NW
branches. An avid HO scale modeler, he is particularly interested in the Q?
s Iowa operations, steam-era equipment and structures.
A veteran computer professional with many years of programming and graphic
design experience, Rob is eager to continue the tradition established by
previous BRHS Webmasters, and enthusiastic about the future of the BRHS web
site. Look for updates and new material on the site as Rob settles into his
new duties. Our new Webmaster may be reached via e-mail at
aaeditor@n... Please visit www.burlingtonroute.com to see what we?re
up to.
I'm looking forward to working with Rob as a member of the BRHS Archive
team!
