I am from Lubbock, TX where a spur line connects to the main line of
Burlington.
When I was a child to my teens it was the FWDRR and there was a line from
Lubbock to Childress TX. That line is gone now, but my question is in ref to
the
two tunnels that the line went through. I heard they were the only tunnels
in
Texas.
Do you know if the tunnels still exist or what their current status is. I
know they are
on private ranch land. If they still exist, they need to be preserved
somehow.
