Post-merger Personality

I recall reading an article in Business Week in the mid 70s satting 
that the BN Merger had gone very smoothly, relatively speaking, and 
that no predecessor road had exhibited more influence than the other.

I also found it interesting, in Ft Worth, at the BN corporate HQ, not 
once did I hear or see and reference to John Budd, Bob McFarlane or 
Harry Murphy, the real fathers of the merger, but Lou Menk Drive?
