"the society for Illinois Terminal history." I don't know if they have a

I don't think the Louisville and Nashville ever went to Litchfield, but the
Litchfield and Madison did. It was the C&NW's connection to St. Louis, and
was absorbed by them. Go to www.cnwhs.org for their site.
